Adult Care Food Program

Adult Care Food Program at Building Blocks Ministries

At Building Blocks Ministries, we’re proud to partner with the Department of Elder Affairs to provide nutritious lunches through the USDA-funded Adult Care Food Program. This program ensures that adults attending our Day Training Program have access to healthy meals, supporting their overall well-being and development.

Eligibility Requirements

Participation in the program requires an application to determine eligibility. Here’s how it works:

  • Free Meals: Participants automatically qualify for free meals if they or their household:
  • Receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
  • Receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Medicaid benefits.
  • Participate in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR).
  • Reduced-Price Meals: Participants whose household income falls within USDA’s income eligibility guidelines for reduced-price meals may also qualify.

Commitment to Non-Discrimination

Building Blocks Ministries is committed to serving all participants without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. We ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
